This is famous bender family tree and the root of Korra.

Tenzin family is the only existing air bending family which rooted from Avatar Aang and Katara.

Chief Lin Beifong, ex-girl friend of Tenzin came from  Toph Beifong which was Aang friend who mastered metal bending.
